THE POWER IN THE WORD!!!
Paula dear, what’s wrong? She asked
Paula kept crying, refusing to speak. What or who could make this girl cry now, Debby thought.
After several questions, Debby tried to calm her down so they could go home. They arrived at paula’s house 45 minutes later, she was still sober and refusing to speak. Debby went to the kitchen to prepare something for them to eat and then they settled down, now to speak.
Paulane what happened please?
Deborah, I never knew I had been far from faith all this while. There were too many excuses and all this while I thought I had time and God understands, I was too busy and I was too insensitive, Debby look at me now, I was never like this, I love God but could you believe it’s been two months I’ve picked my Bible to study, IS THAT LOVE? Paula burst out in tears, Father please restore me, I have been too far too far, Looooorrddddd!! Paula cried out on her kneels in Debs presence.
Deborah, I sought for a job, after 6 years God blessed me with one, how could I repay Him by slacking off. Lord, have mercy on me; you will have mercy and compassion on those you desire to, please count me among today, Paula still kneeling cries out to God.
Paulane dear, the scripture says “for there’s no condemnation now to those in Christ Jesus”, do not be condemned for you are in Christ, you are one of those the Father loves and have chosen for His great works. Now rejoice, for Grace has found you once again, for Salvation has once again redirected your path to Yahweh. Rise up child, embrace the faith which has been given to you before now and press forward in the journey.
Debs moved closer to Paula, hugged her, wiped her tears and picked her up. THE FATHER HAS PROVEN HIS LOVE TO YOU DEAR PAULA…….Glory to God!
To be continued
Thanks for this. May the Lord give you strength and may the purpose of this blog be accomplished.
