THE OUTCOME OF MAN DOINGS

For more than a month Ade has undergone several questioning about this scandal but he still denied the fact that he knew the victim. He was told to contact someone but he dares not contact his mum after his behavior to her and also Debs his sister was the last person he’d contact, who would he call now? The Policemen became tired of this case; they abandoned him in one of the cells, refusing to take him to court.

Mr. Man, you better confess, you’re just  prolonging your stay here or better still, you can call someone to bail you out of this mess, you’ve been here for too long, don’t you have any family or friends, The Warden spoke to Ade but he refuse to utter a word.

Ade has been lost in thought refusing to eat anything……Oh God! How did I get here? I should be a footballer soon, what kind of ill-luck is this? Or am I dreaming? Do dreams take so long like this? Lord help me!!! At this point, I know it’s only through a miracle that I can leave this place, God please! Jebal! Please! Come to my rescue….Ade kept crying for days…

AT ADE’S RESIDENCE

My Mummy ooo, I’m back home, the latest Barrister is home oo, Deborah screamed as she ran into the house

Oh! My beautiful daughter. Welcome home, how are you and how was your journey? Mama Ade said as she hugged Debs

I am fine mama, journey went well and how are you too? Debs asked

Hmm, my dear God has been taking care of me, Mama replied

Now where is that little naughty brother of mine, whom has refused to pick and return my calls, Deborah shouted as she checked every room in the house…..Ah ahn mum where did you send Dee to this time? (Debs and Dee were the nicknames their father called them as children before he died)…..

He hasn’t been at home for more than two months now, neither as he called, Mama replied sadly

WHAT!!! MAMA!!! WHAT HAPPENED!!! Debs shouted….. Where did he tell you he was going? Debs asked

He went for his football training but before he left, there was a little misunderstanding even though, I doubt if that’s enough reason not to give us a call or to come home. You know Dapo is not a person to keep things to heart for too long, Deborah I have a very bad feeling about this. Mama spoke these words with tears in her eyes.

Oh my God! Mum why didn’t you tell me all this while? Debs said as she wiped off mama’s tears

My child, I didn’t want to say anything that can disrupt your exams, Mama said…… I already spoke with the ministers of God in the church and we’ve been praying, nothing would happen to my Adedapo.

Yes mama, My God is in control, Debs said…. What about his friend….uhmmm,, what’s his name again??? Hmmmm James! She exclaimed…… I think I have his number, let me check……hmmm..Yes, here it is………Dialing…..Ringing……Picked………………..Hello, am I on to James? Debs asked

Ah sister debby, Dapo is not in a good condition right now, he has been in the police station for over two months now, those people just abandoned him in a cell refusing anyone to see him……

Mum, please be calm, I’m going out there to bring my brother back home. The world has had a taste of him already, it’s time for me to go and fetch him back to safety. Mama do you trust God in me? Mama nodded positively..…..Debby continued……...then sit and pray expectantly for your son; and please do not cry. According to 2 Chronicles 20:15, listen Mother and every invisible thing in this room! This is what the Lord says to us, you and I, do not be discouraged because of this vast army against us. FOR THE BATTLE IS NOT OURS BUT GOD’S, I repeat, FOR THE BATTLE IS NOT OURS BUT GOD’S. Can you keep confessing that in prayers till our return mum?

Yes my daughter, Mama responded.

Babies Get Easily Sacrificed...

  God brought my vision to something that we barely notice in the scriptures and I’d like to share; One sacrificial requirement out of the many, in the Old Testament which was never left out, is “a lamb with no defect”. Now, our focus is “the lamb” which is referred to an offspring of Sheep. Babies are fragile, so easy to handle and manipulate; with an adult, you’d need a lot of tactics in taming them but it’s not so with babies, just with a tender touch or words, you’ve automatically won them over. That’s one of the many reasons; a lamb was often required as part of the old sacrificial rituals, I mean, who wants to go through the struggle of dragging and pulling with the aggressive Ram (Male sheep).
